To attend this workshop you must have satisfied The FA criminal records bureau process (CRB) and have attended The FA Safeguarding Children (formerly Child Protection – Best Practice) in Football Workshop.
By the end of the workshop you will be able to:
- Identify, the club / league building blocks that need to be operational to demonstrate best practice in relation to safeguarding
- Have a clear understanding of the Club Welfare Officer’s role and responsibilities, along with those for others in the safeguarding support network
- Act upon concerns about poor practice & pass on those of possible abuse within or outside football
- Make an action plan to address any gaps within your club / league.
