The course involves both theory and practical elements, and by the end of the course each participant should meet the following outcomes:
- Apply and extend your existing coaching skills and experience to meet the needs of players with a range of impairments
- Establish basic communication skills for coaching disabled footballers
- Use appropriate terminology
- Identify appropriate safety and medical considerations
- Plan a wide range of coaching sessions for disabled footballers
- Using the Inclusion Spectrum, plan your coaching sessions to include disabled players, or provide alternative appropriate opportunities.
- Understand the player pathways available for disabled players, including the appropriate structure for competition

- Males and Females
- Minimum age is 16 years
- Must hold Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football
- Managers/Coaches of teams of players with disabilities
- Youth Leaders of Clubs with special needs
- Teachers in Special Schools
- Football Clubs providing ‘opportunities for all’

Fee: £31.00 per candidate

Places will be booked on a first come, first served basis on receipt of application, however, application forms received without payment cannot guarantee a place on a course.

Please note that if your Club are paying for your course fee, then you must enclose a letter from your Club Secretary stating that they wish to be invoiced with your application form.
All fees must be paid in full prior to commencement of the course.
