Coaches Association Update

9:11 AM, Monday, 11 August 08.

After the success of the last Coaches Association session, which saw over 30 coaches attend a demonstration by Scott Ainsley (Sunderland AFC) on Football Fitness. We would like to remind you about our next session:

TOPIC:        Possession Under Pressure:
The Underlying Principle Behind a Successful Youth Team

COACH:       Eric Kinder,
Carlisle United Reserves & Youth Team Manager

DATE:          Wednesday 20 August 2008

VENUE:        Sheepmount, Carlisle (please note change of venue)

TIME:           6.30pm – 8.30pm

We are also delighted to announce that we have been able to organise a session with Carlisle United’s Eric Kinder.

Eric was manager of the youth team during last seasons thrilling FA Youth Cup campaign, overseeing their famous victory over Manchester United on their way to the last 8.

The session will utilise Eric’s vast experience, and belief that keeping possession under pressure is vital when building a successful side. There will be a practical session on some of his favourite drills, and a short question and answer section.
