This exciting new position will be jointly managed by the County FA and Carlisle United. The successful applicant will be based at Carlisle United FC’s Football in the Community Offices within Brunton Park.
The post is full time for 37 hours per week and will include a minimum of 30 hours per week of coaching, including clubs, schools, and after school clubs. The role will be to provide support across the whole county of Cumberland, specifically operating in priority areas and with groups where current activity is low e.g. Women and Girls, BME, Social and Rural Deprivation.
You must hold a minimum of a Football Association Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football, and have a good understanding of the organisation and structure of football development. You must be a confident verbal communicator who can plan coaching sessions, autonomously or as part of a team. You must have an understanding and commitment to equal opportunities, and experience of working in diverse communities.
The salary for the post is £16,000 per annum, and this post is for an initial 3 year fixed term contract.
You will need to hold a current driving licence and also be able to work evenings and weekends.
