Season 2013-2014

Cumberland FA run eleven County Cup Competitions for affiliated Clubs across the County (including the Veterans Trophy).

Almost 300 teams competed in eleven competitions during this season with the title of County Cup Champions as the prize.

Competitions started back in September 2013, once the season had got underway and climaxed at the end of the season, with plenty of competitive matches throughout the year, highlighting the quality and desire within the County. Click here for fixtures & results.

The first of the Finals took place at the home of Carlisle United FC, with Brunton Park a fitting venue for the Senior Cup Final (Cumberland Cup).

More Finals then followed, kindly hosted by local Charter Standard Clubs, including the "County Cup Weekender" at Keswick FC.

Cumberland Cup – Aspatria FC 0 v 3 Celtic Nation FC

Sunday Cup – Salutation FC 3 v 2 Brampton FC

Veterans Trophy – Frizington White Star Veterans FC 4 v 1 Grasslot Club Welfare FC

Under 18 Cup – Northbank JFC (U18 Northbank) 0 v 1 Cleator Moor Celtic JFC

Under 16 Cup – Cleator Moor Celtic JFC 4 v 2 Gillford Park Youth FC

Under 14 Cup – Northbank JFC 2 v 0 Crown Newlaithes JFC

Under 12 Cup – Moor Row JFC (U12 Blues) 0 v 2 Warwick Wanderers JFC

Women’s Senior Cup –  Kendal Town Ladies FC 2 v 2 Penrith AFC (Women) 
                                      Penrith AFC win 5-4 on penalties 

Under 16 Girls Cup – Penrith AFC 3 v 2 (AET) Crown Newlaithes JFC (Diamonds)

Under 14 Girls Cup – Abbeytown JFC 1 v 3 Allerdale Girls FC

Under 12 Girls Cup – Carlisle City 3 v 1 Stanwix JFC (Wasps)

The Cup Finals are not only the showpiece of the season for the County FA, but an opportunity for referees across Cumberland to experience officiating in a Cup Final.
