Refereeing in Cumberland

FREE Referees Course – The Game Needs You

Ever thought of becoming a referee? We have a fantastic opportunity for anyone aged 14 years+ to become a referee involved in football on a weekly...

We have over 170 registered referees within the County and are looking to recruit more. If you have a passion for the game, we can assist you to progress with the skills and qualifications required to help officiate football. Throughout your referee career you will be given the support, training, and resources needed to assist in achieving your own personal goals.

Should you be interested in becoming a referee, then funding is available for you to cover the costs of the course*. For more information and to enquire about the funding, please contact Steve Dobinson, Referee Development Officer on 07786 361337 or e-mail Steve.Dobinson@CumberlandFA.com

*please note that this funding is specific to a commitment to refereeing within the Workington & District Sunday League &/or West Cumbria Youth League.
