Notification of General Meeting - 1 March 2017

The Cumberland FA Board of Directors have called a General Meeting to vote upon a special resolution, which would see an increase in the maximum number of directors from its current nine to eleven.

This increase would see a further two appointed directors, if needed, being added to the board to support the work of the County FA, whether that be as a business or developmentally, in what is an ever-changing political and economic landscape.

In order to provide further clarity, the Cumberland FA will be running an online web-ex session to go through the special resolution, in addition to the rationale behind, and answer any questions that associate members may have on the matter. This session will take place on Thursday 23rd February at 7.00pm. For an invite to the session, please email info@cumberlandfa.com

Whilst all members are entitled to attend the meeting, please remember that attendance at the General Meeting is not mandatory for all clubs or their secretaries. Therefore, members do not have to attend or send representation in person; however, we do ask that the club secretary completes and returns the Attendance/Proxy card – which can be downloaded below – indicating their intention as to the vote.

Please note that youth clubs are not entitled to vote on this special resolution.
