Jess Nelson, Football Development Office at Cumberland FA, said: “This was the seventh year of delivering the County Futsal Competition, and each year it gets better.

“We’re really pleased with how Futsal has embedded itself as a form of winter football for our Cumbrian girls’ teams. Competitions like this give girls a great opportunity to come up against teams from all over the county.

“Well done to everyone who took part, particularly our referees and young leaders. We’re now looking forward to the semi-finals and finals on 25 February.”
