Girls' 2019 County Futsal Competition - Enter Your Team

Cumberland FA is pleased to announce that its 2019 Girls’ County Futsal Competition will go ahead on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 January 2019 at the Sands Centre in Carlisle.

Similar to last year - and to accommodate the increase in teams we see year on year - we have decided to run the event over two days. This year, however, we will run all the group games, semi-finals and finals over the course of one weekend.

On Saturday 5 January we will welcome our U12 Girls age group in the morning and, after great demand, our U16 Girls in the afternoon.

Sunday 6 January 2019 will see action from our U10 Girls in the morning and U14 Girls in the afternoon.

Jess Nelson, Cumberland FA Women and Girls’ Football Development Officer, said: “We’re really pleased with how last year’s competition went, and with the recent growth of the female game over the last season, we’re just as excited to kick off this season’s competition. It’s bound to be a great weekend of Futsal.”

Winners of the Cumberland heat will then go on to represent the county at the North West Regional heat as part of the FA’s National Youth Futsal Cup (date TBC).
