Cumberland FA are delighted to confirm a BRAND NEW Dementia Friendly Walking Football session will begin in Cockermouth later this month.

The sessions are a joint initiative between Cumbria County Council, Cockermouth Dementia Action Alliance, Cumberland FA and Cockermouth U3A.

The weekly sessions will be delivered to the needs of the group, with warm up exercises, followed by football related games at walking pace. The social aspect of the session is very important, therefore each session will finish with a cake and a cuppa.

Time: 1:30pm – 3:00pm
Venue: Sports Hall and Side Room (For tea coffee, biscuits and chat!)
Refreshments: Tea Coffee and Biscuits provided
Cost: £2 per person
