Updated Roles and Contact Details

Cumberland FA have had some staff changes over the past few months, please see the below updates in case you have missed them. 

Designated Safeguarding OfficerMel Sandwith joined Cumberland FA in August 2019 and has become a vital member of the team supporting the safeguarding and welfare of participants across grassroots football in Cumberland.  

Whilst the position is part time, Mel is in the office each day from 9.30-13:00 Monday to Thursday and 12.30 to 16:00 on a Friday.

Referee Development Officer Scott Taylor took on the role in November 2019 supporting and developing referees across Cumberland. Scott will continue to work full time until the end of March, and thereafter will be working 3 days per week.

Football Development Officer (Women & Girls and CFA Leagues Officer) - Paul Carrigan joined the team in February 2019 temporarily as maternity cover for Jess Nelson. Paul will now continue in a slightly amended role, which will include overseeing those leagues ran directly by the County FA.  

Paul will be in the office on a Monday and Wednesday, 9:00 to 17:00.

Cumberland FA have recently advertised a Football Services Administrator role and this will be updated once the new starter is confirmed. 


Returning 

Emma Sharrock will be returning to Cumberland FA on 10 February 2020 following maternity leave part time (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday). Emma returns to a new role as Football Services Administrator with specific responsibility for finance and providing administrative support to the football development team.
