Cumberland FA are delighted to confirm the third Referee course of the season will begin in March!

The FA Basic Referee Course sessions will take place at Cumbria Sports Academy (Copeland Athletics Stadium) on Overend Road, Whitehaven, CA28 8SD.

DATES
• Introduction Evening on Friday 20th March 7-9pm
• Day 1 – Saturday 4th April 2020 10am - 4pm
• Day 2 – Sunday 5th April 2020 10am - 4pm
 
• Call Back Meeting date TBC (usually 8-10 weeks after Day 2)
 
The Saturday and Sunday sessions of The FA Basic Referee Course are a mixture of outdoor and indoor training so appropriate clothing for practical refereeing instruction is essential.
Commitment must be made to attend the Introduction Evening and both practical days to complete the course.

 
For the first time, Cumberland FA are offering candidates the opportunity to book the course and order a full Nike Cumberland FA Referee Kit (shirt, shorts, socks).

As usual, ALL candidates will get a Fox 40 whistle, pocket book with yellow/red card and pencil.
 
• Course fee without referee kit: £125
• Course fee with referee kit: £165

For candidates aged 16+ a DBS check and attendance at The FA Safeguarding Children Workshop is mandatory ahead of completion.
