Cumberland FA are delighted to confirm details of the first ever Futsal Referee Course to be held in the county.

The FA Futsal Referees Course is designed for anyone aged 14 and over who wants to join the fast-paced sport of Futsal.

Please note - there is not a need to be an existing football referee for this course

Whether you want to referee in youth and adult leagues, the Futsal Referees Course is the starting point for your career. Refereeing is not only rewarding in a Futsal environment, but the social and life skills that come from becoming a referee extend far beyond your initial expectations.

Scott Taylor, Referee Development Officer for Cumberland FA commented “We’re delighted to provide The FA Futsal Referee Course in Cumberland to support the continued development of futsal across the county and we urge anyone interested in getting involved to book on the course early to avoid disappointment.”

Unfortunately the scheduled course has been CANCELLED due to low numbers. Cumberland FA are planning on hosting this course later in the season. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

The course consists of four Blocks, with Block 1 (pre-course introduction) completed online prior to Block 2 (16 February) which is six hours (3 hrs theory + 3 hrs practical) and will be led by the FA Futsal Development Manager for the North West.
