Cumberland FA Work Social Football League

Work Social League a Step Closer

Still Chances for Local Companies to Enter Before The Leagues Begin Later This Month!

Following a positive meeting with interested local businesses, the brand new Cumberland FA Work Social League is a step closer to becoming reality!

With potentially 9 teams in the West (Copeland and Allerdale) and 11 teams signed up for the East (Carlisle and Eden), this League will provide local companies with opportunities for staff to develop their teamwork outside the workplace, building team spirit and supporting mental health.

Ray Sempill, Football Development Officer for Cumberland FA commented We’re delighted with the number of local businesses who have got on board with this new initiative in the County and there are still opportunities for more to get involved and sign up before the league begins later this month.”
