Online Support for Young People in Cumberland

Kooth.com links with Cumberland FA to offer Free, Safe and Anonymous Support

Cumberland FA are delighted to create a link with Kooth - A free, safe and anonymous online support for young people

Kooth is available in Cumbria to young people aged 10-18 (up to the 19th birthday)

Kooth is a web based confidential support service available to young people. Kooth provides a safe and secure means of accessing mental health and wellbeing support designed specifically for young people.

CEO Ben Snowdon talked about mental health and welfare in his 'Return of Football' message and highlighed: "Whilst we are all excited about the imminent ‘Return to Football’ we also recognise that, as football will be one of the first restrictions lifted, those involved in the game may be amongst the first to encounter and identify potential issues with mental health and welfare, caused by the circumstances we have found ourselves in over the past 12 months."

This is one of the reason's why Cumberland FA are keen to highlight the importance of online support such as Kooth, to support the football community and beyond as we move forward from a year that has been isolating for so many.
