Cumbria Women’s League offers local football at Under 16 and Women’s. The Women’s League (piloted in summer 2015) runs between March and October offering mid-week summer football on the doorstep to Cumbrian players.
Ideal for women who may be brand new to the sport, the League has seen many women dust off their boots and make a return. The League also caters for new transitioned Under 16 teams making their debuts in the Women’s Game.
There are a handful of clubs who play outside of the County; accessing either the Northumberland Women’s County League, or the next tier up, the North West Women’s Regional League; these teams play during the winter.
To find a local Women’s Club, click on the ‘Find a Club’ on the right hand side.
In partnership with Cumbria Women’s League, we like to offer a number of opportunities for players new and old to get involved in the game. Whether that be an informal kick about, festivals, tournaments and even over 30’s.
New This Winter:
Fortnightly Women’s Fives
