Young Volunteer Opportunities

    •
Working with the future volunteers of the grassroots game is vital for sustainability of clubs in the long term.

The FA Football Futures programme gives young leaders within the county a number of opportunities to get training, support and recognition for their time.

Cumberland FA run programmes and events throughout the year which are supported by Football Futures volunteers. Without these young leaders giving up their time to get involved we would not be able to run these as efficiently.

Last season Football Futures volunteers supported Girls Futsal events, Under 8 Festivals, the annual Charter Standard Festival, the 'Get Set Go' Girl Guiding Event as well as numerous school coaching sessions. Therefore we are not just looking for those interested in coaching to get involved, but also referees and behind the scenes volunteers (view the 6 strands of the Football Futures programme to see which one suits you the most).
