LEAGUES | CLUBS | REFEREES | Season 2021 - 22
Cumberland FA is delighted to provide information to clubs relating to Affiliation for the 2021/22 Season.
THE ONLINE AFFILIATION WINDOW THROUGH WHOLE GAME SYSTEM WILL OPEN TO ALL CLUBS FROM TUESDAY 1st JUNE 2021
The CFA Board has once again agreed a substantial package of support for clubs to benefit from for season 2021-22 which includes:
FREE Club Affiliation
FREE Public Liability Insurance
FREE Team Personal Accident Insurance (through the National Game Insurance Scheme and Bluefin Sport)
FREE County Cup Entry
Based on the type of football you play will determine how quickly you will need to complete the process:
Please complete the process by 5pm on Monday 28th June if you wish to take part in any of the following:
• Junior Football - If you intend to play friendlies, festivals or tournaments from the 1st July 2021
• Women’s League Teams
• Veterans League Teams
• Walking Football Teams
• Ability Counts League Teams
• All other Adult Football - If you intend to play games from 1st July 2021
All other affiliations must be submitted by Friday 23rd July 2021
If you intend to take part in friendly fixtures, festivals or tournaments from 1st July 2021 onwards, your affiliation application must be submitted and completed 5 days prior to the prior event to assist us with processing the application
Please Note - You can complete the affiliation process gradually so do not worry if you do not have time to complete the process in one sitting. You will find that your club information has been carried over from the previous season. Please take time to check that this is all correct, and amend any information where necessary.
Whole Game System will recognise which County Cup Competition your team is eligible to enter - entry into the Senior Competitions is mandatory for all senior teams, and entry into the Junior Competitions is optional.
Once you have completed your affiliation and clicked 'Submit for Approval' on Step 7, we will then review your application. Once your application has been approved by the County FA, your new affiliation number will be available in Whole Game System to view.
Public Liability & Personal Accident Insurance
This will be provided free of charge by the County FA for Public Liability and Personal Accident Cover.
Clubs can take out an enhanced Public Liability cover for £30 when completing the application in Whole Game System.
More info relating to Personal Accident Insurance can be found via the Bluefin Sport support Document - Download below.
Safeguarding Committee Members Course
It remains mandatory for Committee Members (Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer & Welfare Officer) at each Youth Club to complete a FREE online Safeguarding for Committee Members Course.
The above will need to be in place for the County FA to approve your club's application. Please click here or scroll down to complete the Safeguarding for Committee Members Course.
