Opportunities with Cumberland FA

With the new football season upon us, Cumberland Football Association is pleased to announce that a number of vacant opportunities are available to the right candidates, as the Association works to strengthen its team dedicated to the development of grassroots football across the county.

Director Roles

In line with Cumberland FA’s Articles of Association, the company is now accepting nominations for two positions upon the Cumberland FA Board to act as a Director of the Association.

Referee Appointments Co-Ordinator
Cumberland FA is looking for a volunteer to support the appointment of referees within a number of partner leagues. The position will receive an honorarium payment to expenses, and would automatically become a member of the County FA’s Referees’ Committee, which oversees refereeing within Cumberland.

League Secretary
Cumberland Football Association (CFA), are looking to recruit a League Secretary to manage a number of CFA leagues across the county.

This role would report directly into The CFA Chief Executive Officer and CFA League Management Committee or Chair of CFA Sanctions and Competitions Committee.

Youth Forum Members
Cumberland Football Association promotes that this is ‘Your Game’ and that we are ‘Your County FA’ and with this in mind the Association is looking to recruit enthusiastic, positive and proactive young people aged between 16 to 23 to join our team and sit upon a Youth Forum.
The forum's focus would be to support the County FA Football Development Team in delivering against The FA’s National Game Strategy, which runs until the end of June 2019.
