Veterans' Trophy Cup Final - This Friday
Cumberland Football Association is delighted to announce details of the County Veterans Trophy Final.
The final, to be contested between Harraby Catholic Club Veterans and Carlisle City Veterans, is to be played on Friday 8 September at Gillford Park Stadium, with the match kicking off at 7.00pm.
Admission to the game is free of charge, however there will be a charity collection taking place, with all donations going to Tony Hopper's Fightback Fund for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
All are welcome to attend to support both teams as they challenge for silverware.
Harraby Catholic Club Veterans defeated Creighton Rangers Veterans 2-1 in the semi-final to seal their place in the Veterans Cup Final, whilst Carlisle City Veterans were taken to penalties by Silloth Veterans in their semi-final following a 1-1 scoreline after extra time, with Carlisle City finishing 4-2 winners in the subsequent shootout.
Everybody associated with Cumberland FA wishes both teams the very best of luck in the final.
