New Pan Disability Centre to Launch in Penrith

Cumberland FA is pleased to announce that a new Pan Disability Football Centre will be launching at Penrith Leisure Centre on Wednesday 7 November (5-6pm), providing a great opportunity for 6-16 year olds to play regular midweek disability football.

The regular sessions, held every Wednesday, will be run in partnership with Eden Mencap and GLL. The first session is free, and sessions after that are priced at just £2 each.

Ray Sempill, Football Development Officer, said: “We're delighted to be launching a new pan disability centre in Penrith. We hope to engage as many children as possible. I'm looking forward to working with Eden Mencap, who have been in the Ability Counts League since it began.

“This brand-new centre means that even more youngsters with pan disabilities can play football across the county, with centres already established in Carlisle, Workington and Whitehaven.”
