So…. Cumberland FA are looking to recruit enthusiastic, positive and proactive young people aged between 16 to 23 to join our team and become a member of our BRAND NEW Youth Forum!

To reflect the grassroots game, we’re looking for young people aged between 16 and 23 years of age who are passionate about the grassroots game in the county.  Therefore whether you're e a player, ex player, a coach, a referee, somebody who writes match reports for their local team or a fan of a local team, we want to hear from you!

The group will provide an opportunity for young people to have their say and provide innovative ideas around grassroots initiatives, projects and current practices with an aim of growing and improving the game for all who play it.

The Youth Forum will also play a pivotal role in continuing to shape, organise and deliver The County FA’s Young Leadership Academy, which aims to develop and support young volunteers within various aspects of the game.

Meeting 4 times a year, members of the Youth Forum will be provided with a benefits package including NIKE kit and equipment and may be invited to attend different County FA and FA events throughout the course of the season.

 The Cumberland FA is committed to safeguarding children and adults at risk. Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate (if aged 18 and over) will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check through The FA DBS process. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this voluntary post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
