Cumberland FA are saddened to hear of the passing of Bill Robson Senior. 

Bill was an Honorary Member of the Cumberland FA having previously served the County with distinction as a council member, committee member and a successful manager of the Under 18 Representative side.

He was a football man who did so much for the grassroots game within the County. Bill was honoured as part of The FA Community Awards in 2014 receiving an 'Outstanding Contribution to Community Football'.

The word legend is often overused but in this case it doesn’t go far enough in describing this wonderful man and his legacy.

Thoughts are with his family and all those who knew him at this difficult time.
