Cumberland FA are delighted to confirm the line up for this week’s Virtual Coaches Coffee Club. With the Head Coach of England Futsal it is certainly one not to be missed!


Now in Week 5, the weekly sessions have brought more than 40 coaches from across the county together to chat about football.

With no football, the weekly ‘Chat and Brew’ sessions have been well received with coaches able to get their football fix while staying safe at home.

Previous sessions have included subjects such as Academy football, the psychological / Social Corner in Grassroots Football, coaching a Grassroots team and this week we have a Futsal Focus!

On the Call will be:

The FA Youth Coach Development Lead – Ian Bateman
Liverpool Academy U11 Coach – Ash Higgins

We’re sure you’ll agree that this is a fantastic line up for Cumberland Coaches to get involved – the session will have a Futsal focus. Coaches will be able to ask questions and hear from our special guests. 

With all youth leagues offering Futsal throughout the winter for various age groups and having recently delivered The FA Futsal Level 2 in Coaching Futsal, we’re hoping the Coffee Club will interest many coaches from across the county.

Cumberland FA are delighted to once again welcome an England Head Coach to Cumberland – although this time it will be in the virtual world! In 2014, the then England Under 21 Manager Gareth Southgate visited the county to deliver a session for Cumberland coaches.
