Entries Open for the 2020 League Season for Women in the County

The 2020 season is almost upon us, and entries are now open for Women’s 9v9 teams to enter ahead of the AGM in February.

Cumberland FA are inviting teams, existing and new to enter the 2020 mid-week season which is due to begin in April.

This year Clubs are asked to complete an online registration system for league entries.


Please note the entry should be completed by the main contact no later than Friday 14 February 2020.

We are also asking for existing member clubs to give us some feedback on the 2019 season as well as proposals or rule changes for the new season.

Last season

In 2019, 10 teams competed in the mid-week league with almost 200 women playing across the county.

Crown Newlaithes Ladies won the League and Cup double in 2019 while Workington Reds Diamonds Ladies lifted the League Trophy.
