Cumberland FA are hosting an online support session on how clubs can provide better experiences for children who have Autism and/or ADHD

Date: THURSDAY 24th FEBRUARY 2022

Time: 7pm KICK OFF

This session is open to Club Welfare Officers, Club secretaries, Managers, Coaches and Assistant coaches.

We're delighted to welcome Shelley Crowe (Inclusion Lead at Mayfield School Whitehaven) who will lead the session.

The session will provide information and tips including:
- How to prevent ‘sensory overload’
- Appropriate communication advice
- What ‘triggers’ to look out for that a child is becoming frustrated
- What conversations to have with parents to best understand their child

The FREE session will be relevant for all the roles mentioned above. We're urging Cumberland Clubs to take this opportunity to support players within their teams going forward.
