Cumberland FA’s Designated Safeguarding Officer Mel Sandwith is set to leave at the end of this week for pastures new.

Mel joined the CFA team in July 2019 supporting Safeguarding and Welfare throughout the county. Mel has been instrumental in prioritising safeguarding across the club and volunteer network and created a community of welfare officers supporting each other in their roles.

As a valued member of the team, Cumberland FA would like to thank Mel for her efforts supporting the grassroots game across the county and wish her all the best for the future!

Cumberland FA will shortly be advertising for the vacancy of Designated Safeguarding Officer.
