Cumberland FA would like to announce the appointment of Steve Greenway as the County FA's new Designated Safeguarding Officer. 

Steve joins the County FA after retiring from the police force. 

Cumberland FA CEO, Ben Snowdon, stated: “I am delighted to welcome Steve to the CFA team.  His vast experience from the police force, alongside the fact that he is involved in local grassroots football as a coach of a girls team, made him the perfect person for the role and I look forward to working with him to continue to ensure that all children, young people and adults at risk have a consistently safe and positive experience within Cumberland.” 

Steve Greenway commented: “I am really pleased to be joining the committed team here at the Cumberland FA and I’m looking forward to working with the grassroots football community to continue keeping safeguarding at the heart of growing and developing the game in our County.”

Steve's working hours are Monday to Friday: 13:00-16:30
