Cumberland FA is proud to work alongside the Young Gamers and Gamblers Education Trust (YGAM) to provide a workshop for parents raising awareness of gaming and gambling.

Taking place on Monday 17 October 2022, 6.30pm-7.45pm, the workshop aims to offer parents an insight into:

• Why children and young people might game and/or gamble
• The meaning of gaming and gambling harms
• The additional vulnerabilities faced by children who have experienced early life and utero trauma
• Understanding the blurred lines between gaming and gambling
• Where to go for help and support.

We have conversations with our children about drugs, alcohol and smoking – but what about gambling, gaming and the potential links between the two?
