Match Preview: Under 18 County Cup Final

Workington Juniors U17 Whites v Whitehaven AFC Juniors U18

This evening, the Under 18 County Cup Final kicks off the traditional ‘Youth Weekender’ with 3 days of Finals coming up!

The Under 18 trophy heads to Frenchfield Park, the home of Penrith AFC in the first of five Finals over the weekend.

Following the three senior Finals over the past couple of weeks, attention now turns to the Youth Finals once again. To support Under 16s with exam preparation, the Under 16 County Cup Finals took place in March rather than be included in the Youth Weekender with Carlisle Lionesses (Girls) and Workington Juniors Blacks (Mixed) lifting the respective Trophies!

Workington AFC won the Fred Conway Cumberland Cup, Penrith AFC Ladies lifted the Women’s County Cup and Parkside FC won the Sunday Cup in their first season!
