REFEREE REGISTRATION

The registration process for Season 2018 / 2019 is now OPEN to all referees in Cumberland.

Referees are invited to register electronically via WGS by clicking HERE

If you have forgotten your password, or have not accessed WGS previously, please click HERE

Once you have logged into your Referee Dashboard, click onto the ‘Referee Administration’ tab, then click on ‘Start Referee Re-registration for 2018-19’ in order to complete your registration process.

Why not also take the time to familiarise yourself with the online discipline reporting section which can be found by clicking on ‘Add Match’ on the left hand side of the screen.

The registration fee remains at £20.00 per referee, and this is a national cost set by The FA.

***Referees who register ONLINE via WGS by 31st May 2018 will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a Nike Referee Kit, and winners will be notified after this date***

PRE-REQUISITES FOR REGISTRATION

If you are aged 16+, you will require a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) to officiate in youth football (valid for a period of three years).  Please note that you will NOT be able to successfully register for next season until this has been completed.

During your Basic Referees Training Course, you will have completed an FA Safeguarding Children Certificate which is valid for a period of three years. As best practice, it is our recommendation that you retain this qualification

Cumberland FA strongly recommends that ALL referees hold both valid and an in date FA CRC and FA Safeguarding Children Certificate

PUBLIC LIABILITY & PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE

Please note that all referees must be registered by 30th June 2018, and therefore should not be actively refereeing after this date until you are registered for the new season, as you will not be covered under CFA Public Liability & Personal Accident Insurance.

We are delighted to confirm that the Personal Accident Insurance policy will be renewed for the period 1st July 2018 – 30th June 2019, and this cover has been specifically created to meet the requirements of all registered referees, assessors and coaches in Cumberland – further information will follow in due course.
