Coach CPD - Intro to Futsal

An online event, to be held on Thursday 9th November 2023, 7pm.

Cumberland FA are delighted to support local Leagues and Clubs with an online Coach CPD session to support teams as they transition to Futsal throughout the winter months. The session will be delivered by Matt Fejos, the Coach Development and Mentor Lead for England Futsal.

For a number of years, the younger age groups across Cumberland have benefited from regular indoor football through Futsal, reducing the impact of the weather during the winter months as well as providing the platform to further develop their all-round game.

Uefa 10 Reasons

“During my childhood in Portugal, all we played was futsal. The small playing area helped me improve my close control, and whenever I played futsal, I felt free. If it wasn’t for futsal, I wouldn’t be the player I am today.”
