England Football Accreditation
Take the lead. Get Accredited
England Football Accreditation renewal for clubs is open for the 2022-23 season.
The FA introduced England Football Accreditation to replace the former Charter Standard Scheme.
Existing England Football Accredited Clubs are required to renew before Sunday 30 April 2023 in order to keep their Accredited status and show that they remain committed to creating environments where players, coaches and volunteers can thrive.
Cumberland FA is committed to assisting local Clubs to complete the process ahead of the national deadline and use Accreditation to assist Club’s both on and off the field. All Club Secretaries with Youth teams have received an email detailing the support, from ‘Support Sessions’ to bursaries.
County FA Support is available to all Club renewals with a range of bursary options for 1,2 and 3 Star Club Status. Scroll down for details of upcoming support sessions.
How to RENEW
The new streamlined online process via Club Portal should make this easier than ever. The new accreditation platform is now hosted within the Club Portal with all Club Secretaries having access as you have previously with Whole Game System.
Clubs can take a look at their dashboard on Club Portal which will show everything you need to keep your Accreditation. From coaches' qualifications and DBS checks to uploading and accepting your policies – there is one place to go to renew your club’s Accreditation.
Clubs need to complete their accreditation checklist and submit for renewal via the Club Portal before April 30th. If you aren’t sure about something relating to the renewal process, there are detailed guidance notes from FA Grassroots Technology Support which show exactly what to do step by step.
Coaches and Volunteers can help Clubs with their Accreditation by ensuring their qualifications are up to date along with The FA DBS check.

SUPPORT DROP IN SESSIONS
To assist Clubs with completing the process, Cumberland FA offered 7 face-to-face Accreditation drop-in sessions across the County.
A number of Clubs accessed these sessions to get support from a CFA Team member.
Ahead of the 30th April closing date for renewals, Clubs can still request a specific face to face meeting with CFA staff to assist in more detail where needed. Please contact Development@CumberlandFA.com to request a meeting to support the Accreditation renewal or if you have any queries regarding the process.
Congratulations to the following Cumberland Clubs who have already renewed Accreditation!
