Calling All Referees
Cumberland FA are accepting applications for Referee Promotion for the 2020/21 season.
The promotion process is the only way Referees can advance through the Referee Levels and move onto the next stage of the refereeing pyramid.
Cumberland FA are committed to the development of all Match Officials. Whether as a Referee you're happy to continue to officiate within the Youth or Senior Leagues, or you wish to move through the levels of promotion, Cumberland FA are here to support you on your journey.
Across Cumberland there are a number of formats to Referee including 5v5 mini soccer to 11v11 adult football. The Ability Counts PAN Disability Leagues, Walking Football, Academy Football and Development Centres give plenty of options for Referees at all levels to officiate dependent on your availability.
Currently Cumberland FA have received nine applications across the grassroot levels; there is still time for more Cumberland registered Referees to apply!
Every Cumberland registered Referee will have received an email with the information as well as a copy of the CFA Referee Promotion Guide 2020/21.
Applications MUST BE made via the smartsheet link (included in the email) by 30th September 2020.
Referee Development Officer Scott Taylor said "I’m particularly keen to get more Level 7 Junior Referees promoted to Level 6 County Referee so if you’re a Level 7 and not sure about it and need some advice, please get in touch."
