Youth Cup Final Programme

The County Cup Weekender is back

Details of the Five Youth County Cup Finals taking place over the weekend!

We’re delighted to be heading into a weekend of Youth County Cup Finals with five Champions to be decided!

With the competitions beginning in September 2021 and each team playing in a number of rounds to get to this point, the season finale should bring some fantastic spectacles of football across the age groups.

It begins this evening at Workington AFC’s Borough Park with the Under 18 County Cup Final. The County Cup roadshow then heads to Keswick FC for the Under 12 and Under 14 (Mixed and Girls) competition Finals over the weekend.

Cumberland FA would like to give thanks to both Workington AFC and Keswick FC for their support in hosting the upcoming Finals. Without the volunteers in grassroots football, these events would not be possible.

Cumberland FA would like to wish all teams the best of luck for what should be some great games of football! All the talk will be about the two teams playing to win the County Cup, but the games wouldn’t be going ahead without the ‘third’ team, the Officials so we’d like to wish them all the best too!

Thanks to our partnership with Veo Camera, the Final will be recorded with teams able to access the analysis tools following the fixture. Clubs can now 'double' their discount until the end of May with £200 off a Veo Camera for new customers and 50% off for existing customers looking to buy a second or third camera. Book a sales call today to find out more!

There will be no charge for entry for the County Cup Finals but we are asking those in attendance to support the Teenage Cancer Trust and this is why:

Carlisle City Under 17’s player Danny Boy Lynas was diagnosed with Cancer earlier this year and his friends are showing their support by participating in a number of hikes to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust.

  Carlisle City under 17s

Danny has been unable to play football or attend school as he is undergoing treatment.  As a #FootballFamily we’re asking for donations on entry to the remaining Cumberland FA County Cups to show our support for Danny in his brave fight. Please drop any loose change into the buckets around the grounds over the weekend so we can pass it onto the charity page set up by Danny’s friends.

This is the last chance to nominate for The Grassroots Football Awards – Nominations close on Monday.
