Girls' Advanced Coaching Centre Recruitment
Cumberland FA, in partnership with The FA, last week announced this season’s girls’ specific talent programme - and is now looking for some new people to help us deliver and coordinate the centre.
Are you passionate about the development of girls within the women’s game in Cumberland? If so, we are looking to welcome three new people to our brand-new Girls’ Advanced Coaching Centre for the 2018-19 season.
As part of the new programme, we are looking to recruit to the following roles:
• ACC Centre Director
• Lead Coach
• Goalkeeping Coach
We are looking for motivated people, experienced in working in the grassroots game, along with knowledge and experience of developing players within girls’ football.
You will understand the player pathway for young players into the women’s game. You will also have knowledge of FA policies and procedures around safeguarding young people, with experience of producing reports and administration in football. You will be a team player with excellent organisation skills, with the ability to motivate and encourage others.
Jess Nelson, Football Development Officer, said: “We’re really pleased to be releasing the information on these new coaching positions. We believe these new roles will not only freshen up our talent programme this season, but also allow new talented coaches the opportunity to get involved in some of our work in supporting elite players.
To apply, please complete the application form below, highlighting which role you would like to apply for and return marked ‘private and confidential’ to Craig Lewis - Info@CumberlandFA.com
The closing date for applications is 12pm on Friday 28 September 2018, with interviews taking place on the evenings of Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 October 2018. These will take place at the County FA HQ in Cockermouth.
