Female Coach Networking: Cumberland FA and Westmorland County FA

Are you a female coach or aspire to be one? Read on!

Cumberland FA and Westmorland County FA and are working in partnership to set up a group for female coaches, including established, new or potential coaches across the county.

The group will launch on Sunday 2nd July with an event at Newton Rigg, Penrith (10am – 1pm).

The aim of the group will be to provide female coaches with the opportunity to connect with other female coaches in the area and learn and develop in a supportive environment.

The free group will run coach development events throughout the season which will be a mixture of online and face to face delivery. 

The group sessions will be shaped around feedback from the members.

We also have TWO Stepping Over the Sideline Workshops coming up in June 

Whether you are an aspiring female coach currently involved in grassroots football (club volunteers, parents or carers) or if there are women or girls aged 14+ interested in getting ‘over the sidelines’ but don’t know where to start or feel they don’t have the confidence, this is the workshop for them!

Carlisle (Mon 19 June, 6:30-8:30pm at Harraby Community Centre)

Whitehaven (Monday 26 June, 6:30-8:30pm at Whitehaven AFC)
